Cottage is located in the Berkshires on beautiful Lake Garfield, approximately
ten miles east of Great Barrington, off Rt. 23. It was designed by AIA
award-winning architect Albert C. Moore in 1980 and completed in 1983.
The lakeside of the house faces south. There are no weeds in the water where Moore Cottage is located and since the cottage waterfront enjoys sunlight all day, it is a very swimmable spot. In the evening enjoy beautiful sunsets from either of two decks or from the 30 foot dock. The property is wooded and private. The cottage is a three-story shingle-style house featuring an open plan with two-story spaces and a fireplace. It sleeps up to six and is fully furnished. This property is convenient to Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, Norman Rockwell Museum, Appalachian Trail and dozens of restaurants and cultural attractions.
